Mission of the Rocky Mountain Belgian Tervuren Club
The purpose of the Rocky Mountain Belgian Tervuren Club, as defined in its By-laws are:

to encourage and promote the Belgian Tervuren breed and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection;

to educate members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by The American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Belgian Tervuren shall be judged;

to do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience trials, herding trials, and other events;
-
to hold events that will further the aims of this club, such as matches/workshops, herding events, agility events, supported shows, etc. under the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club.

to support the parent club, The American Belgian Tervuren Club, in its endeavors.
